IBP ------ /IBP/ECC_DEL_ALL transation code

Dear Friends,

We have been requested for this transaction code access in our ERP production system. On review and confirmation from IBP [ new ] implementation team it was found transaction data \ master data specific to IBP will get deleted from ERP production system.

Please let me know if there is any specific SAP documentation specific to this topic and at what stage is this transaction code used and why or what is the reason for deletion of transaction data \ master data in a production system.

This program will delete all transaction and master data from the standard IBP staging table. this will not impact any data that exists in your ERP system. once you install the SDI addin in ECC or S4 HANA it generated few integration staging tables starting with IBP_* (e.g IBP_ORDER_EXT). so this prorgam will delete all the data from those IBP related table and it has no impact to anything else in the ERP system.
