O Data services(generated from CDS Views) consumption in Tableau

We are testing the consumption of CDS views ie created on a simple table like MARA and published using O Data Services .

Output of the O Dataservice is tested in SAP Gateway client successfully.

Now can we consume this semantic layer thru O data services in an external tool like Tableau,

Hi Atul,

Thank you for your response,followed the blog for creating o data service however Tableau doesn't recognize it.

However I can test out the gatewayservice with the CDs with out any issues.

Can the semantic data be reported out of Tableau using odata services,
