Is it possible to display two measures in one column in an sql query?

For example:

Column 1|Column 2 | Column 3

01/02/17 | Measure 1| 302

03/02/17 | Measure 2| 423

05/02/17 | Measure 1| 207

Column 1: Date

Column 2: Varchar. Labeling which measure column 3 is displaying.

Column 3: Integer. Displaying two measures in the column. Each measure is displayed on a single line.

  1. Yes, but what for, really?
  2. The "how-to" the why is to calculate the measures in separate columns first, and then two projections plus a union all into the one-column output schema.
