connect to Enterprise from crystal after install of Crystal Reports 2016 Support Pack 9

I connect to Enterprise from crystal after install of Crystal Reports 2016 Support Pack 9. I open Enterprise first and then I do a "Save As" in Crystal. I select "Enterprise" and the correct location is there "FRxxxxxWWAPV02.corp.pvt" and the user name is there, Authentication is Enterprise but when I enter the password, I get "Log On to BusinessObjects Enterprise XExternal Error. When I had Crystal 2013, I was able to connect to save reports there.

Perhaps there is something else I should add? I open Enterprise in a browser successfully. Then I try to save a Crystal report to Enterprise when I get the error. Does anyone know what other tags I should add?

Or....is there another way to get a Crystal report into Enteprise? Like an import?

No! I did not. Thank you. I don't know how to copy the report but to the server but I did figure out how to add local document by going to a folder and then browsing to it report to add it. This works great since I can't do the other. Your answer is much appreciated.

Hi Terry,

Did you upgrade Enterprise to version 4.2 also?

They do have to match...

If you did not then you can still publish the report but you have to add it manually to BOE.

Copy the report to the BOE server and then from the CMC browse to your report folder and then click Add, local document and find your report.
