Hello, SAP Experts
I connected another webpage or solution program by Webservice
Authentication Method of Communication Arrangements used User ID and Password but I want to use API key
so I I think it's the part that controls the API key needed to communicate with the system.
but this part is deactivation so how to use API key ? what should I do?
Thank you, best regards
beyo
Dear Young
Communication arrangements that use an outdated key pair will not work correctly.
These certificates will be automatically renewed and a notification is sent to Key users in system about the expiry of certificate, you may download the new certificate form same communication arrangement (check the validity after download) and upload them to connected system
Also refer below thread if that helps,

Hi 1342640
I understand your comment. thank you
I know this way(Certificate Authentication) but The way I want to know is the key method.
The key method I thought of was to create a key value in ByD, hand over the key value to the other side, and check the authentication by checking the key value only when API data comes.
so I wonder if there is any part where I can create and manage Key values arbitrarily.
thank you

Dear friends,
have somebody managed to use the API key for calling external API? We also have a scenario where basic authentication cannot be used and where the API is called using the API key. So does ByD support to authenticate the outbound call with the API Key or not?
Thanks,
Ly-Na
