Same story if you connect to the server using VBA API:

https://help.sap.com/viewer/ec68e48b18a44a49abb12b8ee8ae306f/10.0.38/en-US/f9b4121d6faf1014878bae8cb...

Temporary connection will be generated.

when we login to EPM addin from BPC adminstration page, the connections are generated correctly with the correct server urls and works fine.

we also have link set up to login to EPM directly without going thru BPC adminstration page. This link gets incorrect server connections and not able to figure out where that config stored or how to correct it? This link use to work fine but after a system refresh i think it copied the source system connections.

Not clear what do you mean by:

"we also have link set up to login to EPM directly"

Where do you have this links?

Hi rekhareddy,

This connection is generated by BPC when you click EPM add-in from web client, you can save this connection to your Excel so next time you can use it logon to EPM without first logon to web, but of course you need to enter user/password in EPM.

Best regards, William
