Hi all,
Do you have a clue how to integrate sap workflow management Inbox with back-end system.
I have a BTP trail account now i want if the user creates the sales order in the back-end system that sales order should get trigger in the inbox of trail account.
Is it possible if yes then please suggest me!!
Thanks!!
Yes you can do that via events. You have to use SAP Event Mesh to listen to SO created/changed event, and then start the workflow. We already have a ready to use content for Sales Order approval workflow, you can explore it. Setup guide is attached with the content

Hi Archana / Romil,
I am working on a poc for integrating event from S4Hana on-premise to trigger the workflow we created in SAP BTP using Workflow Management Service.
My question is, "Is there a way / capability to trigger workflow directly from event mesh?". What I read last was this feature is still in progress and there was no way for direct interaction between Workflow Service in BTP and Event Mesh.
I have also raised a separate question for this, can you please check:

Please suggest.
Thanks,
Rakesh
Ok, this tutorial is for SAP BTP. So if you trigger a workflow (which has a user task) in BTP then this user task will appear in BTP My Inbox. You can call any available sales order API using workflow service task.

Hello Romil,
