Print template cut in Windows printer - Print Template 80mm - FP11

In a recent implementation I have been working on, I’m using a thermical windows printer and the customer has informed that after 15 sales items (more or less) the receipt cuts the paper and doesn’t print anything else, which means the summarize and the footer template doesn’t appear.

That has always happened trying to import to pdf the 80mm template, thought it was just something related to this template with the conversion to pdf, but apparently happens the same during the printing process. This happens with the standard template and with a customized one.

I have tried this from FP09 to FP11, which is the one that this customer has implemented. Is there anything I must check in the template? as I cannot find anything related to a maximum apart from the total amount of the paper, which is 2m, in the PrintAttributes file, but nothing related with a restriction.

Dear npinzon,

As you said correctly, in the PrintAttributes80mm.xsl file we have set a maximum page height of 200cm.

It may be possible that some printer models are not able to print anything longer than A4 (29.7cm). So perhaps after around 15 items in the receipt this length is reached and then the printout cuts off.

In order to solve this problem please try the following: In the PrintAttributes80mm.xsl file comment out line 11 and comment in line 14:
