PowerDesigner Custom Toolbox Objects using Extension Files Missing Labels

121 Views Last edit Jun 10, 2021 at 10:33 PM 2 rev

I have a few PowerDesigner users utilizing a customized BPM template that have lost the toolbox labels listing of the custom metaclass objects I created for the toolbox. The stereotype label normally feeds the toolbox tool tip (on mouse over) and the object listing when the toolbox is displayed as a list.

All standard BPM objects have an icon, mouse-over tool tip and display the name of the object (label). However, for a small few of my users, they see all the models' custom toolbox objects (icons only) with missing label text (tool tip and listing). So they get icon view of the custom objects only and full listing of the standard BPM toolbox objects.

I was wondering if anyone within the community has had any similar issues where one or two users (of 500) lost the ability to see the text listings of the metaclass objects within a toolbox.

NOTE: Other users can open the same models before or after the individuals having this problem and those users see the full listing as designed.

Is there a UI property or configuration I may have missed? This appears to be directly related to the users' PowerDesigner instance on not the template/model itself.
