CPI-DS Same Sender and Receiver Systems

Good Day Everyone,

We have a requirement in CPI-DS where in the sender is also the receiver. We need to extract from a table from the source sytem, then map the details to another table in the same system.

Is this possible via CPI-DS?

Example:

S4 table to another S4 table

BW to BW

IBP table to another IBP table

Hi ,

You can't use the same datastore in CPI-DS as source and target , however :

1. S4 table to another table: You can create a data flow that reads data from CDS view / S4 Table and insert it back into S4 via Target using Webservice / HANA DB. In this case, you need to have 2 different data store.

2. IBP table to another IBP table: Personally haven't tried this try creating 2 different datastore with same IBP instance , and see if you can use one as source and other one as target.

Thanks Manoj. I'll look into your suggestions.

I have tried creating 2 data stores for IBP. Unfortunately, in creating the Task, I cannot set the other IBP data store as Target when I set the 1st one as Source.

Thanks for the confirmation.

As expected IBP to IBP is not diretly allowed , but if alternative you can try creating 2 flow like : IBP-->FILE and nother FILE-->IBP , this should work.
