SAP Transport management and event management

Hi experts,

We are having a requirement to install SAP Transport management 9.4 and event management 9.2 my queries are

Q1. Do I need to install tm and em on same server

Q2.At a time can I install both the applications

Q3.Do i need to maintain two different database's for both the applications?

Hi Raviteja,

there is no need to install EM 9.2 on the same server with TM. In contrary, I would even recommend to install EM 9.2 on a separate instance, because this would very much ease a potential conversion of TM to S/4HANA TM. Installing EM 9.2 and TM 9.4 on one box would also be possible, but as mentioned less recommended because it may block future upgrades. You can use the same database for both applications. Both TM and EM are Netweaver add-ons.
