SAP BTP Trial account - Subaccount Update Failed

Hi Experts,

My trial account has expired, when I tried to extend for next 30 days, it should extended successfully. But when I get inside, it is showing as Update failed. Can anyone help me on this to make it run without losing the configuration & data.

Thanks Denys for your response.

I can see only 2 options as in the screenshot with my trial account. Getting support is expecting to login for SAP One Support Launchpad. Please suggest me on how to proceed further.

FYI, I have the same problem. I contacted support and they advised me to look here!! They say they only support "productive" systems and this is a trial account.

Hi Abdullah,

Trial and free versions often come with community support and the SAP BTP trial is no exception. However, the community has no access to the systems and hence cannot extend trials.

Sounds like extending trials is not possible.

Thanks a lot for the reply. My account is actually extended (so no problem there). I still get the error however. I will keep checking with product support and hope they will fix it for me.

Hi Leon - I'm sorry you are having issues with the trial account. As I mentioned in the last few comments, the best option would be to delete it and create a new one (see comment to Praveen for example).

Hi Praveen, sorry about the inconvenience. But as I mentioned in my previous comment (in January) if you can delete the subaccount and create another one, that would probably solve the issue (of course the data in your subaccount would be deleted). And we recommend checking out the Free Tier service plans if this is an option for you. I was hoping to retrieve back this sub-account because of my dada inside it. Anyhow, thanks a lot for your response.

Hi Senqui, EU10 is no longer available on trial. You can try creating a subaccount in another trial region (like US10 or AP21) to see if this is successful. But I would highly recommend checking out our Free Tier offering.
