How to change component PIR consuption based on finished good

Hi,

I've been trying to find a solution for my problem but haven't succeed. I hope you can help me with this. Might be easy one, but I just can't figure it out..

I have this kind of situation:

Finished goods FG1 and FG2

Component A1 in both FG BOMs 1 pc.

FG1 is low runner and FG2 is high runner

FG1 order backlog is 4 weeks, FG2 order backlog is 2 weeks.

We use SOBOM and have forecasts in component level. We are cleaning all PIRs within two weeks and use only customer demands. After two weeks for component A1 we have forecast which is reduced by customer demands of FG1 and FG2. Although we would like to get to situation where FG1 customer demand does not reduce PIR but FG2 does.

So atm situation could be for example like this:

Forecast for component A1 at week 32 is 800 pcs. Sales orders for FG1 10 pcs and FG2 100.Customer demands are reducing component PIR and total demand for component A1 at week 32 seems to be 800 pcs (10 pcs from FG1, 100 pcs from FG2 and 690 pcs PIR).

What we would want it to be is:

Forecast for component A1 at week 32 is 800 pcs. Sales orders for FG1 10 pcs and FG2 100.Customer demand for FG2 is reducing component A1 PIR but customer demand for FG1 is not and so total demand for component A1 at week 32 seems to be 810 pcs (100 pcs from FG2, 10 pcs from FG1 and 700 pcs PIR).

Is it possible to do this for example on SOBOM so that FG1 component requirements does not reduce PIR but they still are calculated to total demand and planned?

Thank you in advance!
