How to determine true number of units sold

I'm trying to determine exactly how many units (not pieces, bags, pallets, etc.) my company sold of each product, by product. For example, Product A sold 100 units, Product B sold 50 units, etc. The difficulty is that some of our products are sold in a bag of 10 or a box of 25. In our SAP system, that shows up as "1 piece." I can get the sales data/goods movement data fine, but that conversion factor is proving hard. Does anyone know where I might find that?

I've already tried MM03 > Additional Data > Units of Measure, but that usually has X and Y both set to 1 for all entries. I've also tried using MM03 > Sales: sales org. 1 to look for the Min. Ord. Qty. field, but didn't Min. Ord. Qty. doesn't appear there.

PS Thank you in advance! I'm a data analyst who has only been given partial read access and has had to learn all this SAP from the internet. So kind people like you, willing to take time to help strangers on the internet, have been incredibly helpful!

HI Zach,

As you mention, in the additional data of the material you have the units conversion.

Within SAP you have the MD_CONVERT_MATERIAL_UNIT function module for converting quantities from unit A to unit B. So, if you do not have pieces as the unit of measure, you can convert the quantity to that unit of measure.
Obviously the material master should be correctly updated.
As I understand you have not full access to SAP, check table MARM where you will find the units conversion.

Max Isoba.

Thank you, Max, for the reply. Unfortunately, I cannot reach the MARM table in the kernel that would have the data. Looking at a different kernel (that does not have the right data) where I do have access, makes it seem that MARM would be the correct place to look. Time to figure out how to get the right permissions! But now I know where to look once I have those permissions, so thank you.
