Hi, I found two different warehouse numbers in SPRO IMG, the one in LE and the other in EWM. Are there any relations between there, or are they totally different?
So far as I know, The one in LE is derived by the combination of Plnt and SLoc. The one in EWM, on the other hand, is mastered in Location Master Table, with integration with Plnt data of ERP.
1. Enterprise Structure >> Definition >> Logistics Execution >> Define, copy, delete, check warehouse number
2. SCM Extended Warehouse Management >> Extended Warehouse Management >> Master Data >> Define Warehouse Numbers
Hi Tomoki,
the warehouse numbers are representing different warehouses in your (ERP) system.
You can set up ERP warehouses in different ways: as classic WM warehouse, as decentralized WM and as EWM (embedded or decentralized).
In all cases you have to define a LE warehouse number and connect it to at least one plant + storage location combination.
If you do not define anything else you get a classic WM warehouse.
If you want to have a decentralized WM you have to do configuration in LES --> Decentralized WMS Integration --> Central Processing --> Application --> Activate Decentralized WMS
If you want to have an EWM warehouse you have to do configuration in LES --> EWM Integration --> Basic Setting of Connectivity --> Configure SAP EWM-specific parameters.
Best regards
Andreas
