activate quality inspection for stock retured from internal store

There are instances where end users from technical departments return the excess ISSUED materials to stores. While returning the material to stores, end user makes RETURN RESERVATION with 202,242,262 & 971 mvts. Stores checks the returned materials and post the reservation to update the stocks in SAP.

Please let us know the possibilities of implementing Quality Inspection process during RETURN RESERVATION PROCESS. Where QC person will check the returned materials and accepts if the materials are new and good condition.

Hi Hamid
Did you tried by activating the Inspection Type : 06, Storage Location Transfer Inspection.
You can assign the different storage location to Technical Department, other than the Production Storage Location.
When the Goods were moved from Technical department to Production, let the System should trigger the Inspection Lot & then Quality Control depart will check & post the Goods to Production, after checking.
