Excel add-in 64x MS office support

Hello, colleagues

Please, help to clarify MS office 64x support policy since FC 10.1 SP 9 has arrived. We are currently use ctexcellink (not an ctexcellinksweb) Excell add-in, but SP 9 installation leads only to ctexcellinksweb only to be upgraded to 64x.

1) Is it correct that only web type ctexcellinksweb of add-in support 64x now, and ctexcellinks still 32x only?

2) We have never used ctexcellinksweb. is it correct that both add-ins doing the same things but ctexcellinks use win SAP FC client as a source, but at the same time for ctexcellinksweb we must deploy web site previously?

Hi,

Indeed, Excel 64-bit edition is supported for Excel Link Web with SAP Financial Consolidation 10.1 SP09 patch 1 and higher.

Both add-ins are quite similar in their behavior. You can have a look to the SAP Financial Consolidation Excel Link (Web) User Guide and the Installation guide on the help portal to find additional information.
If you want to use the web add-in, you have to deploy the legacy web site on the web server.
