How to create custom Methods in Custom Controls SAPUI5

I am trying to work with the custom controls, to create all metadata (properities,events,methods and aggregations) elements, and struct while creating methods.

Please help me to proceed with my learning and share useful links.

Can you be specific with what you meant by custom methods?

Currently we can create our own events and it's triggered based on your custom view present in xml view. Please refer here to start with.
