Delivery Doc --> Billing Document

Hi SD Experts,

Good Day!

Im still learning and I Hope you can help me.

1. What is the relationship of Delivery Document to Billing Document? Is it 1:1 or 1:n?

2. Can Billing Document be the 1st to process before the Delivery? or vise versa Can the Delivery Document be the 1st to process before the Billing?

3. A I right? that in Sales Order, It is allowed to have many Delivery Doc. in 1 sales order?

4. How about in Delivery Document? Is it allowed to have many billing document in 1 Delivery Document?

2. Can Billing Document be the 1st to process before the Delivery? or vise versa Can the Delivery Document be the 1st to process before the Billing? - No you cannot process billing before delivery.

3. A I right? that in Sales Order, It is allowed to have many Delivery Doc. in 1 sales order? - Yes it is possible to create multiple deliveries against sales order.

4. How about in Delivery Document? Is it allowed to have many billing document in 1 Delivery Document? - No its not possible

1. It is n:1 or 1:n depending upon the Business requirement
2. Yes you can create billing document before goods issue and after delivery creation but not before delivery creation. Of course, in some cases, we need to create delivery but if the configuration is order related billing, system will allow you to generate billing document against sale order and it will not validate whether delivery is created or not
3. Yes you can create en number of deliveries against one sale order / one line item in sale order
4. Yes possible

Perfectly fine, could you please help me by telling scenario process on Below points

Have you faced real-time scenario.Of course, in some cases, we need to create delivery but if the configuration is order related billing, system will allow you to generate billing document against sale order and it will not validate whether delivery is created or not Again could you please help me by any real time scenario.
