SAP IBP Security roles and permissions for scenario management

Hello IBP experts,

As we all know. When working with scenarios in IBP, we usually have three 4 options to manage them:

1. Create
2. Promote
3. Reset
4. Delete
5. Duplicate

I am wondering if it's possible to limit the ability for a user in IBP to only Create, Duplicate, Reset and Delete but not promote.

I have been looking in the help but so far no luck. The closest I got was the following link.

Have anyone done this? is it even possible?

Hello Eddy,

Unfortunately not, it is not as much flexible, the WRITE permission gives access to everything, including promote.

Feel free to submit an Improvement Request on this regard in the IBP Influence Channel:

@Ivan Andreis In the app "Maintain Business Roles", under "Maintain Restrictions", I can find "Versions", but not "Scenarios". Is it possible to give either read, or read≀ite access to a user when it comes to a particular scenario only, not version-wide?
