SAP Basis Consultant to cloud

Hi Guru's,

I have been working as a SAP Basis Consultant for about 6 years and have worked in Supporting projects supporting Application and Databases - HANA, DB2, Sybase. Have worked more on HANA Database.
I need to gain more knowledge and Keep on learning, I am stuck where to proceed next and how?
Do I need to go for cloud? If i need to go which one AWS or AZURE or DevOps?

What is the future of SAP Basis Consultant and how we need to move further?

It would be a great help if someone help me in moving on the right path

Hi Mithran.

In my view, you have to gain knowledge on SAP Cloud & other cloud environments of SAP HANA, currently the SAP basis consultant jobs are on prime or Cloud environments of HANA DB (either on SAP or any other Cloud environments on HANA DB). slowly all the customers are migrating the ERP systems to SAP HANA either on prime or Cloud environments on HANA DB

Hi Mitran,

As you may know, the focus of SAP is on cloud, so it is an excellent idea to follow along.

AWS or Azure?

Both are excellent candidates but so is Google Cloud. No need to choose, SAP runs multicloud with customers on all platform.
