Problem with ADS

Hi,

We have a customer who currently has several problems with the “SAP Advantage Database Server”.

They indicate that the software crashed.

We connected and restarted ADS and all was fine except with the 1 of the file is now corrupt.

I looked in the error logs and found noting except

These error were the time it happened.

We also have a DMP.GZ file called adsdump-20210526-125845.dmp.gz

Can anyone give me any more info to help me diagnose and fix.

A 7041 might be a corrupt index issue. Assuming it is using advantage tables, I'd start by deleting/renaming the adi file associated with the table in questions. You'll have to have everyone disconnect from the database to do this.

Ensure that the file tbluti.c is in the correct location and that proper permissions are granted

Thanks you for the reply yes there was a corrupt index when it was restarted. It crashed at 13:00 so the corrupt index is when it was restarted.

Does any on know where tbluti.c is as we are on a windows 2012 R2 and can not find it any where.

I have also checked the event viewer and found

Exception Occured in an Advantage Database Server Worker thread. Exception code is 0xc0000005. The exception Record structure is in the data. The Advantage Database Server will be stopped.

Thanks in advance for your help.

this is a source file of ADS itself. I guess only R&D can help.
