Material maintenance CR Stuck in MDG.

Hi team,

One CR is stuck in the system showing the status as Activation Failed. When I check the validation log, the changes I have done are " in reuse active area ".

How to check the root cause of the CR stuck. Kindly assist.

Usually, the Activation failed status occurs when there is a change done in the Reuse active area, when the CR is in progress. In this case, you need to delete the CR and re-create it. Could you please provide the exact validation error, so that we can provide solution.

The screenshot clearly states that, the material was changed in reuse area (in ERP system), during the CR process. For example, the fields Description, purchasing data fields, material ledger fields, valuation data fields are changed in your ERP system. This is the reason why the CR was not able to activate. It is still possible to enable partial activation, if that is your requirement. Please follow this Document, on how to activate the partial activation scenario.
