Mass Keyfigure Addition to IBP roles

Hi,

We have been adding an enormous number of Key figures (approx 400-500) to IBP Roles physically in DEV and it has been a tedious job as we have added a comparative number of KF's numberto roles. Would someone be able to provide a solution for this KF or automated way to do it or any API which can be utilized to facilitate the task.

Is there any automated way for adding KF's to the role instead of manual addition in DEV.

Hi Thembhavani,

Currently there is no automated way like an API or something similar to add KFs to a brand new Business Role. Feel free to suggest this as an Improvement Request for future releases on the IBP Influence Channel:

Meanwhile there is a customer influence request Key Figure Hashtags and Authorization Roles for which you can vote, it is already in the backlog

I don't understand the question, to do what exactly? If your role is ready, you can transport it, or down-/upload.

Irmhild,

The problem is that there is no way to ADD Key Figures to a role en masse. So the role is not 'ready' to down-/upload, because the only way to add key figures is to scroll through the (extensive) list and tediously manually select each key figure individually and add it to the role one-by-one.

There is no way to paste in a cellular list (e.g. copied from excel) or to use search wildcards to help trim down a list of hundreds (or thousands) of Key Figures... Again, you're having to tediously scroll through a lengthy list that is only marginally filterable (no wildcards) to pick out the needles from the haystack. This is not ideal, and takes much longer than it should.

Thanks,

Brian
