Setting Display Type Value as "Configurable" via Integration in CPQ System

Dear Experts,

We are trying to replicate products from ERP to CPQ system. We need to replicate our products as "Configurable" in order to use them in the CPQ configurator, hence we arranged CPI mapping by assigning default value for the field "Display Type" as in attached screen. Product is being replicated successfully however "Display Type" field still seems as "Simple" in CPQ system as in attached screen. When we investigate CPI output logs, we are able to display relevant value as "Configurable" like we mapped.

Is there any idea about what we missing in CPI or CPQ side in order to set value "Configurable" in the field "Display Type"? We are suspecting that its not possible to set anything other than "Simple Product" according to CPQ integration limits, however sap help document below is talking about supported display type values and seems its possible.

Thanks

Hello,

You need to integrate all you VC model from ERP to another application called SAP Variant Configuration and Pricing(aka CPS).

The product replication from ERP to CPQ always created them as simple product and once you will sync the KBs from CPS to CPQ, the product will became a configurable product and all the attributes will be created automatically.

Thanks
