Howw planner group and workcenter are related in IW22

Whenever i change planner group and workcenter, the values are getting defaulted to another value in IW22.

I'm not sure I understand the behavior.

When you change the planner group, the work center changes?

Or when you change a different field in the notification - like the functional location or equipment record- the planner group and work center change?

These two fields are not directly related, i.e. if you change one, it does not impact the other.

The two fields are (usually) defaulted from the lowest level technical object (equipment/floc), or can come from your user-defaults. They can be overwritten once they have been defaulted into the order/notification header.
