What does error "Username X for workforce person X with BuPa GUID X is inconsistent" mean?

Hello,

We are using scope item JB1 to replicate employees from SF to S4 and we encounter this error for some employees: Username CB99XXXXXXXX for workforce person FA163E10-1BF5-1EEB-A2E6-289E7695EE47 with BuPa GUID 99XXXXXXXX is inconsistent.

What causes this type of error and how to avoid/overcome it?

This is happening in the S/4HANA Cloud Q system which is using an SF preview system as the source.

Hi daviddasilva - This looks like an issue with worker migration stuff. I would suggest to create a support case so that colleagues can analyze this in SFSF CPI tenant. The system access will be required to analyze the issue.

This was the route we had to take.

It turns out a new field was added to the payloads which needed to be updated in the iFlows
