Sale order ATP check results Delivery Proposal: Not possible

Dear All,

i'm trying to create SO in test system, when I do the ATP check by key in all the mandatory data and system perform ATP check and result in proposing the ATP quantity until this step its working fine. after that case 1: I'm visit shipping tab to check the net weight and volume and do the ATP check again system will return the result as 'Delivery Proposal: Not possible'. Case 2: Adding storage location in shipping tab this time system will automatically taking me to ATP screen and return result as 'Delivery Proposal: Not possible'. Case 3: make any filed change in shipping tab will return the result as 'Delivery Proposal: Not possible'. (attached screenshot)

Seems like a product bug please let us know if any correction note is available for this. We are in S4 2020 OP.

Hello,

As per standard SAP whenever, you do any changes related to the ATP related fields like, storage location, shipping point, quantity changes etc, system trigger the ATP check if an item is relevant for a ATP check.

If there is no available quantity to confirm then item will remain unconfirm as dely proposal : not possible. Please check in CO09 available quantity to confirm the required quantity from a sales document.

If in ATP check is at storage location, please make sure enough receipts are available to confirm the sales document on a particular storage location.

Thanks for your reply. We dont have a production facility in our system. To explain with an example i have 140 qty available for material A in plat 1000 sloc 0001, there is no stock stock reservations (so, del, ect..) and no safety stock and no goods issue movement shown in MD04. Now creating sales order for 20 qty, system will successfully ran ATP check and reserved 20 qty after this im adding storage location 0001 in shipping tab now system is running ATP check and showing the result as dely proposal : not possible. Please advise waht im missing here.

Hello,

In customization of Availability check control OVZ9 setting for checking rule A and Availability check group (form MRP 3view material master) combination.

Have you untick "No storage location inspection" - This indicator is used to set the scope of the availability check. It is used to switch off the check at storage location level.

That means system will perform ATP check at particular storage location and not at plant level. And you were able to confirm order at plant level.

And believe the storage location you enter in sales document do not have enough stock due to that order item is getting unconfirmed.

Now there is three way to handle it

1) Enter a storage location is sales document which have enough stock to get an order confirmation.

2) Transfer the stock from one storage location to another storage location from sales document and then perform ATP check again.

3) In customization of Availability check control OVZ9 set "No storage location inspection
