SAP ByD Sales Order Access Restriction

Hi SAP experts,

I am having trouble with a customer request to restrict the Sales Order based on Employee level. (eg. employee responsible can only access to the Sales Order assigned to him/her)

Is there anyway that we can configure as such in the system? If it's not possible, kindly advise a workaround solution on this.

Hello Aiden,

In the standard design, the sales order access restriction is based on access context 4-sales, which means based on sales unit. We cannot restrict the sales order access on employee at the current releases.

You may create sales unit for each sales person, in order to control it by using context 4-sales, but it is not feasible when the size of the sales person is large.

Another option maybe realized it via SDK, to developer your own access restriction on sales order.
