MTO ,MTF, MTS Material Segmentation in AATP/IBP

Hello to the SAP Community,

Currently in our company, the segmentation of the following groups of materials not taken into account while placing the order-entry and in general, no present segmentation available for materials:

• MTO items
• Demand-driven MTF items and Consumption based MTS items

Therefore, the implication is :

• Order creator does not know if it is a MTO part and cannot establish prioritisation of sales orders which results in unfair handling of special materials
• All materials are handled similarly and is independent from the sales behaviour

My question to you is there a way to solve this issue in SAP with IBP and having the results in AATP where there is a live check having the material segmentation taken into account when the order is created ?
