Dump on login after installing SAP Personas 3.0 through saint.

I was applying SAP Personas 3.0 through saint on an ehp7 erp server sp 16. Midway through the process the server crashed and started generating the attached dumps, at the moment we are not even able to login into the server.

Is there anyway out of this without having to reinstall the server?

Thanks in advance.

Ashraf

Yes.

Use this KB article and its "Setting the support bit" section to disable Personas on one workstation via the SAP GUI. This will allow you to log on to the system without a dump. Then check whether the installation of the add-on has completed and restart it to finish if it didn't. Once that's done, make sure that all applicable notes according to the master note (2376426, assuming you are installing Personas 3.0 SP04) are properly implemented in the system. Pay particular attention to not ignoring any possible indicators other than green, while implementing all notes - so it's not just a "click through and mark everything as correctly implemented" method like what we see some customers do, then they get problems down the line...

Once this is done, you should be fine and can re-enable Personas on the one workstation again.

That solved the issue. and yes i have already read the installation pdf for personas and implemented it before on another erp system though i didn't experience a similar issue. I will ensure all required post installation notes are applied correctly.

Thanks again for the help.
