Reversal of STO when part of stock consumed at receiving plant

Hi expert,

Through STO process, stock from supplying storage location has been issued with a qty of 1000, while physically 500 has been received in receiving storage location.

At receiving SL, they received 1000 and made a reverse of this receiving via VL09 ... but no reverse of the outbound delivery. Then they create a new receiving of 500.

Now 500 is in transit, and I have no chance to correct it by a new reversal because some parts of the 500 at receiving SL have been already consumed on several orders. I precise material is batch managed...

What could be the solution please? I did not find this situation in other posts.

while physically 500 has been received in receiving storage location. At receiving SL, they received 1000 and made a reverse of this receiving via VL09

Your first line says 500 has been received whereas, the next line says 1000 which is contradicting. Please check how much stock shows "In Transit" and for how much quantity, GR has been made.

    • There was a deviation between physical outbound quantity (500) and system outbound quantity (1000).

500 are now in transit and 284 are in the receiving SL which is a result of 500-216 already consumed, w/o possibility to reverse.

Yes what the moderator is right .

means to say do you have zero stock on system and and 500 either in transit or must have to come from vendor isnt it ?

Pl check MMBE and check stock is in transit and the stock type and its assignment to which PO. and i think you can talk to your stores guiy to make a transfer post ?

    Regards

    • The PGR created a stock of our own. The transit stock is the result of the STO:

      STO: 1000

      outbound del + PGI : 1000 (error: physically 500)

      inbound del + PGR: 1000

      cancel PGR (VL09): 1000

new inbound delivery + PGR: 500

      ---> stock in transit: 1000-500 = 500

Now UU stock in receiving SL: 500 - 216 (GI on orders / no reversal possible) = 284

      Material is batch managed

means to say you have some stock in transit of 500 but physically not available .

do you have an idea when they arrive physically ? ,possible you can adjust your outwards date ?

try see the dates likes PGI date / delivery date etc on the order and see you have some scope at par with your order.

    REGARDS
