CALL_FUNCTION_SIGNON caused by BO Server

Hello Everyone,

We are getting the generic dump error with CALL_FUNCTION_SIGNON_INCOMPL on the ST22 and we cannot reproduce this error at will. Our Environment ist

BW 750 Patch 0013 on HANA

BI Platform 4.2 SP 06 Patch 6

This error is getting generated at irregular intervals.

The dump clearly refers to the CUID of the BICS connection which we are using. This BICS connection has been in use since many years for Anylsis for Office application and we have not had any issue before. The error has been found since the Lumira application has been created. The Lumira application itself runs without any problem. Refreshing the application cannot reproduce the error. I am stressing on the Lumira application because we have 3 identical environemnts and two of these environments have this lumira application which are affected. The Production environment with the same BICS Connection is not yet affected and the Lumria application is not there on the production environment.

Did someone have a similar issue ? I have checked multiple KBAs as well as threads in this forum. Since the error CALL_FUNCTION_SIGON_INCOML is generic there are lots of documents on this. But for this unique scenario where the SAPJCo30 is causing this dump while refering particularly to a BICS connection was not found. I am trying to understand what is the root cause of this.

Thanks

Arijit

Removed BOE platform tag, as the issue is between lumira and BW and not BOE platform specific.

Was this resolved? We are having the same issue after BOBJ/Lumira upgrade.

It looks like a regression issue with our Path BI 4.2 SP 6 Path 6. The KBA 2328900 describes the exact same issue from Design Studio (now Lumira).

SAP Support said that they could not reproduce the issue with BI 4.2 SP 8 Patch 3.
