Hello, I am trying to display polygon shapes in SAC by importing shape files from ESRI to HANA. The shapefile contains polygons, not points. When I import it into HANA a table is generated where the shape field has the type ST_GEOMETRY. I created a calculated view taking that table with the imported data but I cannot visualize the polygons in the SAC map. How should I model that table with the shape data to be able to see the polygons in a SAC Foundry geomap?

I would appreciate any help.
ThankLiliana
Hi Liliana,
first of all, I am not an SAC expert, but I do think, that it does not have straight-forward support for polygons or linestrings - but only for points. There recently has been a blog by ian.henry, which may be helpful in this context. In his blog, Ian used a choropleth layer to visualize polygons from HANA (in this case clustering polygons):

Hi Liliana,
First you must add a st_point. It's mendatory for SAC. And be sure you specified the right referential in HANA during the integration
