VBEP - Schedule Lines in 3rd party orders are being created from delivery date changes in PO

Former Member

Here is the scenario:

  1. 3rd party order
  2. Purchase order is created
  3. Delivery date on purchase order is changed
  4. This creates an additional row in VBEP

Is there any configuration that controls the update/insert. Business just wants the original row to be changed and not a new row to manage?

Please advise if question is not clear.

Here is the scenario:

  1. Process receives an ex-factory date
  2. Process updates through user-exit new delivery date in EKET
  3. Process will update the sales order in 3rd party order scenarios if date is different in both:
  • The user exit
  • The conclusion of the ORDRSP IDOC processing

Hence, we are getting a ST22 dump of duplicate keys. I am progressing on modifying the user exit to not perform the updates for 3rd party orders in the user exit. However, the business is looking to have the new dates maintained systemically. Orders directly to the warehouse work just fine.

At this point in time I am looking at a batch program that will keep the dates up to date in the EKET tables for the 3rd party order using changes communicated in CDHDR and CDPOS.

Hi,

There is no standard functionality to update the existing schedule line if you change the Delivery date in the PO. But if you change the quantity in the PO, it gets updated in the existing schedule line in the Confirmed quantity field.

Why do Business wants to update the existing schedule line ?

Thank you,

Siva.
