Issues connecting IoT Service Cockpit to SAP IoT

Hello,

I am having issues with connecting IoT Service Cockpit to SAP IoT (Leonardo).

Sending Data to IoT Service Cockpit (HTTP) is working fine.

Mapping Sensor Data to Thing is kind not working. I am not able to choose the Sensor created earlier meanwhile I'm working in the same subaccount.

Dear Frank-Daniel,

did you setup the Integration of IoT Service and SAP IoT as described here?

If yes, did you create your sensor types before or after setting up the integration?

Best,
Jan Patrick

Hello,

Yes, I setup the Integration of IoT Service and SAP IoT.

And I created the sensor types before setting up the integration.

Hi Frank-Daniel,

in this case please create a new capability, sensor type and sensor, after this integration has been set up as advised in the SAP Help Portal. After doing so, you should be able to see the new sensor type in SAP IoT.

If this is confirmed and in case you want to use your previously created objects, you can perform a dummy change (e.g. rename) for any object you have setup before the SAP IoT integration. After this, also your "old" objects (capability, sensor type and sensor) should be visible in SAP IoT.

Please let us know if this worked for you.

Thanks,
Jan Patrick

Hello Jan Patrick,

I have tried the procedure : setup the Integration of IoT Service as mentionned here (created configuration and selectors).

Then created the capabilities, sensor types, devices and sensors in the cockpit.

However the sensors types are not yet visible in SAP IoT.

Is there a procedure that I am missing ?

Thanks in advance.

Frank-Daniel
