BP CVI set up on decentralized EWM

Hi,

We have the below set up -

SAP MASTER DATA GOVERNANCE 7.0

EHP6 FOR SAP ERP 6.0

Decentralized EWM in S4 landscape

Current set up is like when we submit a customer from MDG this comes to ECC (Non S4) and creates the customer and BP (with General, Finance and Sales Area data only) in back end. They both have different number ranges. Say customer = ABCD and BP = EFGH.

Via DEBMAS this customer flows to EWM (S4) and creates BP = EFGH (with general data only) and Customer = EFGH. This system have same number range for BP and Customer (this also matches the BP number in ECC as well)

Going forward when we move this ECC to S4 (assuming separate S4 instance for ECC and EWM) -

Should I follow the below process to move ECC to S4 -

1. Extend Credit segment role UKM000 (in ECC) with Credit limit and Credit representative group (EWM should not receive this update)

2. ECC System conversion to S4 HANA system (MDG also in S4)

3. Configure S4 HANA system with required BP and Customer number ranges, PPO set up

4. Run MDS COCKPIT in S4 system so that it would create leading object BP followed by Customer / Vendor (EWM shouldn’t receive this update)

Please confirm if I miss something.

thanks
