Is there any difference between Task list & Maintenance task lists

Sir,

Would like to know

1.The difference between Task list and Maintenance task lists. How they differ while performing actual operation.

2. Maintenance strategy is assigned to Maintenance Plan and Task List . However Maintenance task list assigned to Maintenance Strategy.

Please do explain on this.

Hi,

1. In SAP PM, a Maintenance Task List have list maintenance operations/activities which are to be carried out when associated with a maintenance order.

2. A maintenance strategy can be assigned to a task list , maintenance item and maintenance plan. There is no way to assign a task list to a strategy.
