S/HANA API to IDOC interfacing via MS Azure

Hi Sap guru's

We’re setting up interfaces between S/4 Cloud version and 3PL on ECC WMS. From S/4 Cloud it’s advised to use API’s but the 3PL is still on ECC and so we have to interface with IDOC’s.

Idoc is also what is currently in place at the 3PL. The picture below represents 3 interfaces. The first from S/4 to 3PL, and the next two vice versa.

We now have to Map the API’s to IDOC’s in the middleware, and since both are actually SAP standard and can both could be output from SAP I expect there is a standard mapping available. So far no luck finding this.

I could configure both, the API and the Idoc from S/4 and so figure out what fields to Map in the middleware. Hope there is a smarter way or are the mappings available in Azure already?

Would you know a way to find this mapping in SAP? Any function module I can use and have the API and IDOC tested with the same document so I can see output and compare values to fields?

3PL Interface - Pick/Pack Instruction Warehouse Shipping Order – Send to Warehouse

CO_LEIDW_WAREHOUSE_SHIP_ORDER3PL ==> SHPORD.DELVRY03

Interface - Pick/Pack Confirmation Warehouse Shipping Advice – Receive from Warehouse (B2B)

WAREHOUSESHIPPINGADVICE_IN <== SHPCON.DELVRY03

3PL Interface - Goods Issue Confirmation Warehouse Shipping Advice – Receive from Warehouse (B2B)

WAREHOUSESHIPPINGADVICE_IN <== SHPCON.DELVRY03

Any hints would be much appreciated!

Hi, edwinvandam

You mentioned middleware mapping . If the middleware is CPI , then CPI advisor can help on mapping . The following is the help document .

Working with Mapping Guideline (MAG) - SAP Help Portal
