Hi

I can connect to azure database using ODBC as DBMS. But while selecting microsoft sql server 6.x, im getting error 'sql server request resulted in bad return code or status but no error message was returned' i have tried copying dbnetlib.dll,ntwdblib.dll and also dbnmpntw and dbmssocn.dll in both syswow64 and c:/program files x86/sybase/shared/powerbuilder folder.. but getting errors like db library network communication layer not loaded.. any dll to be copied additionally??please help me to fix this....

It is unlikely that such a dated client would work with a modern cloud based Azure database. If you have this working with ODBC, I would suggest that approach.

Is the error "Db-library network communications layer not loaded"? If that is the case, it suggests that you are missing a MSS client DLL but given the vintage of the driver, I have no idea what DLL might be missing.
