SF/Web assistant/Separate standard and custom content

• SF 1805
• Enable now cloud
• Web assistant activated
• Connected workarea created
• Standard SF content downloaded

Question:

Is it possible to separate standard and custom content?

I want that into the learning centre only standard connent should be avialable, but into the carousel only custom

I tryied to turn on/off control Standard SAP Content, but it didn't help me

Sure. Just don't have the two Workareas 'extended'. You have the Standard Workarea connected - specify that in the learningAppBackendUrl and (most importantly) learningAppWorkspace parameters. Then make sure your Custom Workarea is NOT 'based' on the Standard Workarea, and specify this (Custom) in the dataUrlSEN / dataUrlSEN2 parameter(s). (I don't know how the serviceLayerVersion factors into this - I'd think you could leave it as EXT and the above would work (as they WAs are not actually connected to each other). In theory you could use WPB (which would work for the Carousel), but I don't know how that would affect content retrieved from the learningAppWorkspace.

but I have only one extended WA (screen attached) wa-en.png nc-wa.png

1. LMS WA - contains only standard content
2. jdfb4c2a6 WA - contains only custom content

Ok, so what I am saying is you should make your Web_assistant (LMS) as NOT based on (extended from) the standart_sap_content (sap) workarea.

I didn't understand what I had to do 😞

I did what you said but with any results (manager WA screen attached)

WA NCOC NV contains simulations that were created by our authors

I want to separate this simulations and sap standard content

1. My simulation should be visible only in carousel
2. Sap standard content should be visible only in Learning centre

I tried different combinations of settings, but without result in carousel and learning centre always the same content (not separated).

If under Additional Content > Display Learning Center you set the Enable Now Workarea ID to sap (which is the WA ID of your connected standard workarea) that should do what you want, no?

Ah, OK I see what you are trying to do. Initially I thought you wanted YOUR 'help content' (Tiles and Guided Tours) but STANDARD 'learning content' (Simulations / Books & Book Pages). I now see from your comment earlier today that you want YOUR simulations (only) to show on the Learning Page, and the STANDARD (only) content to show in the Learning Center. Which is not possible (sorry). The Learning Page (of the Carousel) and the Learning Center basically pull information from the same place - which is the 'Additional Content' workarea in your definitions. So in your case (now) you are still seeing a call to the sap Workarea because it is pulling information for the Learning Page. (You should see ONLY STANDARD content on the Learning Page as per your current definitions, though...).

All I can suggest given this limitation is that you add a Link Tile to the Carousel that provides a link to your simulation (you can add an icon to differentiate it from regular help tiles). But that is all manual work.
