Skip RF logical step PIHUIN during picking

Hi All,

For every Warehouse Order being pick confirmed in RF, a RF sceen appears for Pick HU introduction. But most of the picking is in full pallets from Bulk or Racking and users are made to skip this step every time they do picking. Is there a way to restrict this screen only for picking from Pick Face storage Types and make it not appear for Storage Types Bulk or Racking?

the solution is standard in the system. Since EWM9.4? Or EWM9.5? Not sure, I skipped the 9.4 system, but it is at least in EWM9.5.

"Control display of Pick-HU screen during RF Picking". In customizing for the Mobile Data Entry.

Quote:

"In this Customizing activity, you can control the display of the screen for creating pick-handling units (pick-HUs) in the radio frequency (RF) environment (transaction /SCWM/RFUI) or in voice-based picking (transaction /SCWM/RFUI_PBV).

You configure the rules based on the warehouse order parameters, for example:

• You can hide or display the screen by default and decide whether to allow you to go back to the screen to manually create pick-HUs.

• You can choose which fields are used to determine the display of the screen and in which sequence the fields are used, for example:

• Warehouse process type

• Warehouse order creation rule

• Warehouse process category

• Activity

• Activity area (source)

• Queue

• Data entry (you can use a different verification profile for RF transactions or voice-enabled transactions)

These settings are used in all standard transactions with the logical RF transaction (PI*) and voice-enabled transaction (PV*). This means that you can also control the display of the screen during replenishment."

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!

Still not. Most full pallet picking are HU WT and this screen doesn't appear for HU WT. the problem with product WT only. However, this issue was limited only with Internal movements (not ODO picking) where EWM was creating product WT instead of HU WT (Such as WT triggered for a posting change movement from bin to bin).

We also have similar requirement to skip PICK HU screen i.e screen # 200 and 302, please share your experience if you were able to resolve this without coding. if this enhancement, please share details
