Impossible to create a SAC Story from a Data Warehouse Cloud

I am the System Administrator of the 2 tenants:

• SAP Datawarehouse Cloud (DWC)

• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

However, when I want to create a Story using SAP Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC) tenant as Data source, I failed to link to any Space and corresponding Analytical Data Sets.

Please give me a guideline

Have you tried creating the SAC story inside DWC, using the embedded SAC inside DWC? Does that work?

You have reason. That doen't work, neither, when I tried with the embedded SAC.

Now I don't know how to make it work (cry)

Sure do I have access, because I am System admin of both tenants.

The Space I created in DWC has "Expose for Consumption" option set to 'On'.

I am trying to search everywhere for any possible reasons.

HI quantda did you manage to solve the issue? I am facing the same. I have a space with Analytical Dataset with 'Ready to use' status. The view used in Dataset has the option Expose for Consumption enabled and still I am not able to select a Space in SAC Story.

Just got an answer from a practice exercise for DWC:

Although you have successfully setup a live connection between SAC and DWC, a Space in the connected DWC must have at least a "deployed" Analytical Data Set with its "Expose for Consumption" turned 'On' in order to be displayed in the Space dropdown list once you create new Story.

Hi,

Iam not able to find the step to create a Story in DWC. Iam using Trail version and the Space and a datasource from flat file is created. The Steps i see are Create spaces and Build Data.

The Option Expose for Consumption in Space is turned ON.

Is there a restriction in Trail version? Please update.

Hi Pradeep,

With regards to creating stories in DWC trial version, the following worked in my trial DWC tenant (created in Feb 2022):

1. Switch to Analytics perspective (top right corner button next to user profile)

2. Go to "Files", select your DWC space

3. Push "Create" drop-down button and select "Story"

4. Select your DWC analytical data set when adding first story element.
