Internet Transaction Server (ITS) limitations for MOBILITY SOLUTIONS

Hi Gurus,

We are currently having a developed case (running) of Internet Transaction Server (ITS) .

Problem Statement:

Due to change requirement in business we now need to use any Tablet (Android/iOS) to run as a standalone device for doing a functionality which was earlier being done by a handheld device.

As we are new to Internet Transaction Server (ITS) pls point out if I am wrong, Can we say that Internet Transaction Server (ITS) is not flexible for mobility solutions (Like SAP Fiori)?

Providing the barcode scanning feature in Tablet is our major hurdle. Please suggest.

Hello PG,

I recommend using SAP Screen Personas 3.0 with SP06, having then access to the Slipstream Engine. In other words, enabling your transactions to be executed in mobile devices via Personas add-on. You can read more here.
