Hi,

We are implementing note 593640.The note suggests following setting on BW system:

Alternatively, an anonymous user can be entered on the /sap/bw/mime service in the service maintenance transaction (SICF). However, this user should only have restricted authorization. In the service maintenance, you can enter a user under the Service Data/Anonymous log on data. You must select the "Mandatory logon data" checkbox.

Please provide me with more information on the "access" required for this user ID -- it says "restricted" but does not give enough detail.

Suparna,

Restricted in this sense, means Predefined Authorization Profiles, which is allocated to specific tcodes.
