What are SAP DQM Rule import export limitations ?What does SAP recommend to move rules D-->Q-->P ?
Hello Experts ,
we have implemented SAP DQM for Business partners (our system release S4 1909 SP02) and we have completed One end to end cycle from Rule building to Running Evaluation to populating Scorecards. Now we would like to move the rules to our Quality and Production .
We have a local BRF+ application ZMDQ_147 which accommodates all scopes and expressions. We were able to move some simple rules(Without any complex reused expressions) with the use of rule import and export to Quality system. In case of some rules which were using some Boolean expressions/Decision tables from other applications we faced errors in export/import. The error read from SLG1 mentions that some of these expressions are not supported while import and export.
Questions
- Is there any limitation to use of specific BRF+ expressions when it comes to import/Export of rules ?
- Is there any limitation to naming such expressions for example Number cant be used or some special characters cant be used ?
- What does SAP recommended when it comes to migrate DQM rules from Dev-Quality-Production. Does SAP recommended to have local BRF+ applications where scopes and expressions are generated and move the rules via Import and export apps across systems OR Is it recommended to have complete end to end rule governance scenario setup in production where all steps from requirement gathering to rule implementation takes place ( All in production environment)
I understand some of these Question can be answered only based on scenario In such cases please point me to some best practices / Documentation reference
