Temporal joins option is disabled in HANA calculation view - with Star join

Hi All ,

I am trying to use temporal joins in calculation views with star joins. With a central fact table as input to the star join node and a master data calculation view added in the star join node.

I want to apply temporal joins however , when I open the join properties "Temporal Joins" are disabled for me.

Please let me know if I am missing something and if there is any option to enable the temporal joins option.

I tried changing fields , join type but it stays non-editable. However this is enabled in Analytic View for same tables and joins.

Hi,

You should use the Star Join to join transaction data and Master data , then only Temporal Join option will be enabled .

Hi, I have the same problem here. I'm on SPS12

Have you tried changing the join type to inner join? Temporal join is only enabled for inner joins. Also, this is only supported starting SPS12.

Hi Ng,

I am facing the same issue as Leburi's. My current HANA verison is SPS09, and as you answered it is only available for calculation view on SPS12.

So could you please show me the link which tells the support for calculation view is on HANA SPS 12 ?
