Cannot see my API key

Hello all, I am new to SAP world. I wanted to explore the API for integration with my web application. I created a SAP API Business hub profile. When I try to get my API key, (Button: Show API Key), I am getting the message "We cannot display the key. Please try again later". Any help on this will be appreciated.

I'm having the exact same issue and Google gives no answers on how to resolve this. Even with what Denys suggested gives me the same issue, so you're not alone with this. Did you ever find out what the issue was, or are you still stuck where you left?

Hi all,
I just signed up today to SAP API Business Hub and experiencing the same problem/error message:

We cannot display the key. Please try again later.

Tried several times later, but it does not work. Is it a timing problem? Has anyone experience how long "later" should be?

Hi Jeo,

Just tried for the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Business Partner OData API but found no issues

Do you get a different result? (Using Chrome browser)

It seems like the API Keys are provisioned with a delay. Login in api.sap.com with an S-user (Types Partner or Customer) or a P-user, click "Show API Key". If you never logged into api.sap.com before, then there's the error "We cannot display the key. Please try again later". api.sap.com needs some time to generate the key. Wait for a couple of days and try again.

vladimir_latyshenko , I checked the user type - it is a P-user. Does it mean, that I am at a dead end? 😞

Today just now, I was able to get my API key, without doing anything. Hope it will work in future too.

Works for me too, so whatever they did on SAP side fixed the issue 🙂
