Item Master Authorizations Active and Inactive Only

Hi SAP B1 Community,

We would like some of the users to have Full Authorizations to Active and Inactive only but keep the Authorization of the Whole Item master as Read only. I changed the Authorizations relevantly for the users , the whole form is set to Read only except Active and Inactive Fields but when the user logs in the whole form is greyed out. Please let me know for any other alternative. Screenshots Attached.
