We are in the process of upgrading from Crystal 13 to Crystal 16. In the upgrade process we found that our SQL 18 images stored as varbinary(max) no longer displayed in blob fields. Is there an update that came with Crystal 16 to this or are we missing a piece of setup to display these?

How are you connecting? ODBC, OLE DB or ????

Often newer Clients have issues, some times it the OLE DB provider and sometimes it's the ODBC client. Try a different client to see if it works.
